The orphans I tested with were adopted as infants so they had no interaction with each other and showed "sibling". I tested farther--when they interacted further and developed friendship, the "sibling" disappeared. So maybe, if they were friends before being adopted, the "s...

I don't know when it changed. The first time I saw my sims walking through the arches, was after the holliday update.

Only one couple can complete grid at first. After you complete it you can buy jukebox and place in home(s). Hope this helps. I didn't try a second couple while filling the first grid.
