I was somewhat surprised to find that the basketball court can only be placed outside, whereas the putting green (which is in the outdoors section) can be placed inside.
It has always annoyed me that I cant put a trampoline in my gym, now I cant have the basketball court either.

Well, it's a shame that we cannot put many furniture outside or inside.

I think trampoline cannot be placed indoor is because when preteen jump on it, they will jump above 2nd floor, which is higher than the current ceiling height of the game.

Very odd item categorization if you ask me - which is why I will probably spend a lot of time looking for things as times goes on. I'd really like to be able to put a few things indoors/outdoors against it's flagging - no doubt about it, and most of it doesn't involve a sim hitting their head on a ceiling either. Oh well.
