It will be cool to construct my very own games room, but it will probably be several months (maybe even years) before I get to unlock everything.

Just one question: Am I right in assuming that, unlike most hobbies, you don't have to be a certain level in any of these new hobbies to unlock the rewards?

Yes, the levels no longer matter in how you progress with the hobbies. They only provide additional bonuses (all the same rewards as levelling up in any other hobby).

Perturbee, do you know where the "all-in-one" machines are located? I've looked in various tabs in the home store, and in the hobby shop, but don't see them, and I've unlocked them. I"m overlooking them somewhere...

They're in the electronics department of the home store.
