This is a 9 day live event that will starts after you download the update.

Stations
We still have to progress through the personal prizes to unlock the different craft stations to use. So while you may have them in your inventory they are unusable until you unlock them again.

Pottery - 83,410
Jewelry - 79,600
Glassware - 60,500
CC's - 900

Restocking
7 actions are stocked when you purchase a station from the home store.

After those 7 are used it takes 2.5 hours to restock it for 9 uses or 10 SPs to restock for 18 uses. If you are using SP it is better to pay the 10 to get 18 uses as speeding up the 2.5 hour takes 9 SPs.


Placing a station into your inventory will take away any stocked uses left in that station. If you want to move a station to another lot it is best to do it when it has 0 stocked uses left.

Great, we can make our own restaurant because we don't use the one they gave us. :eye roll: Really on the fence about this event. If I weren't such a completist I wouldn't bother. That said, I do like the fences and tables.

If we ended up with an upgraded version of the Restaurant we already have in this game, I'd be more interested in this event. Only really interested in the furniture.

The totals for this event look lesser than the last new live event, wonder if that's a sign of me FINALLY completing a new live event to win one of the Driveway Lots.

Wish FM would stop giving us new live events straight after the update starts though...

The requirements are exactly the same as the last 9 day event which was the Family Furnishings event in July. So depending on whether you were able to complete that one or not should tell you how difficult this one will be.

Huh, funny that. How come I thought that the totals were lesser?

This starts after updating, right?
So if I don't update for a week or two, I'll still get the quest then with the full time available?

Usually you can start event 2-3 days late and get full time available. But if you update later you'll get less time or even won't get live event at all. So I think updating two weeks late is not a good idea.

I’m disappointed to see that there are no extra goodies in the Fine Diner template. It totally saps my motivation to unlock it. I’m always happy for new plants, wallpaper and flooring options, though I’m not sure we needed yet another coat rack

There's a Black Villa Bifold Double door in the house template that's not unlocked in the home store and not available anywhere else.
