"Mansion Mania" is the 9th SimChase event. It's supposed to start on January 15th. (Source) It lasts 9 days.

After opening the game and tapping "Start Chase" the following episodes will start at the same time every day.
To start the event check in with SimChase's hirsute host Kam Ham at the Nightclub.

Note:
Numbers of sims, clues or items to be found and costs may vary. (Probably depends on the game-level and if you have purchased the boost.)
The times mentioned in the game are based on 3-star-objects.
Some tasks can be done by preteens.

If you want you can skip tasks at the menu or shorten tasks at the sim. Both amounts are mentioned in brackets behind the tasks. The costs at the sim will go down a while after starting the task, the lowest amount is 9 SP.

The Simchase just started for me. But the prizes are not worth it. Not for me.
More glamour stuf that I will never use. What I do like are the bookcases on day five.

The first two chairs of each color and one table of each colors are free. Sims can use the table with it's own actions - the animations are gorgous They will also use the table for a cooked meal.

They always rope me in when they throw in hairstyles and clothes - wish there would be one that had some of the real money hair and clothes for kids and toddlers.

The sim mopping floors keeps stopping for no apparent reason. Fortunately I had saved when I started him on the task and can reload the game and not lose time but I gotta keep an eye on him. Maybe a door-less room with no obstructions would do but I don’t see any particular interruption so I don’t know. I had the problem with avoiding ghosts yesterday but when I switched sims and houses there was no more problem. Just a heads up...

Ok, so I left the house and kept an eye on the timer and watched for task completion. That worked but while staying in the house and watching, the sim would quit mopping every 3 minutes or so. This task is completed but I sure hope there’s not anymore like that cause I can’t keep an eye on things like that. I’m going to a birthday party

Avoiding ghosts animation was the best depiction of how I feel during simchase events!

Day 3, Only a few wardrobes are 3☆ for 1 hour, most take 1 hour 15 minutes.

This is only my second Chase. Can anyone share any hints about using the spin tokens? Is it better to spin when you win them? If you spin during an episode is the reward good for that episode or the next? If you save up the tokens and spin several times during the same episode, will all the rewards be good for the same episode or is there a “one reward per episode”rule? If there is a tutorial on this, please point me to it. I’ve worked too hard to get these to squander them. I have been sneaking my tablet to work and setting the alarm for my 1:00 am start time.
