Architect homes

I was an avid player for years but took about a year off from playing. From looking at neighbors homes and architect homes I've realized I've missed out on a lot prizes (hot tub, spa collection, etc). I found a beautiful architect home for 350 sp with all different items I didn't have. I worked hard and collected all the sp, I go back in the architect tab and it was gone! So my question is, how often do they change the architect homes? And I also noticed that none of the houses are worth my hard earned sp, they are all simoleons!!!! Millions and millions of Simoleons!! Anyone have any answers as to why they changed the currency for the homes as well?

To be honest there is no logic at all in the way in which the homes are "priced". I have bought homes that are full of LP items for simoleans and have been well worth it. At the moment the new architect homes seem to sci fi themed so I'm not interested. As for your question, the houses on offer change about every 3-4 weeks. There have been homes in the past that can be bought for SP, LP as well as simoleans. All I can suggest is that you hang on to your hard earned SP and hope that another gorgeous house comes along.

I just noticed sauna room equipment in the most expensive simoleon architect home! Been wondering if that would ever happen. Has the massage table shown up in a buyable home yet? I don't see that yet and I missed out on it too.
