You can only try to make them quit. Apparently that’s not easy to do.

Re: Midtown Café - FAQ and Discussion
So I finished the Midtown Cafe using tons of SP. I am also disappointed with it at this point. No more tours, so no way to make any cafe credits. You can send your employees to work and they work 3 hours to make exactly what it needs to pay them, maybe 2 earned credits after payment. This is absurd. How can I make more cafe credits to upgrade the final stations and max out my employees training? This was such a waste of SP to get to the end to have nothing to do!
You can get employees to quit. I did it with 3 extra employees. Don’t upgrade them on training so they will always be the lowest on the totem pole and they will work the register. That way they can get stress events quicker. Stress them as much as you can and never send them on breaks or take a day off. Leave them angry. They will finally quit. If you don’t want the other employees to stress you will have to send them to breaks frequently so they don’t quit.
Here is a trick I did during the event. Start a shift and make sure that before the shift ends, spend all your cafe credits for upgrades or training. That way you won’t lose your cafe credits to the shift and paying the employees. Employees will be fine and ready for the next shift. If you don’t and try to save they will be eaten up on salaries and you will never get anywhere. As you get toward the end of the event it will be easier to save as you are making more on the shifts. That is until the event is over.
Then, since you have no tours, you can’t make much money on walk-in’s, looks like just enough to pay the employees.
I waited until the end of the event to build my cafe out and it uses cafe credits for everything! Yes it’s only 1 or 2 credits per item but that adds up.
I love Sims FreePlay and have been playing it for years! If they are going to do events as money grabs they should at least give the more casual players another time to complete it like the arts and crafts events.

Re: Midtown Café - FAQ and Discussion
Why can’t they make an event, like Midtown Cafe, but have no time limit on it? Then you could take your time, play thru the prizes and by the time you come to the end your cafe is fully built, and all of the prizes are awarded. Then it’s over. Move on to another business on the map and do the same. I guess I’m tired of everything costing money to get to the end and be disappointed.
Re: Midtown Café - FAQ and Discussion
Found that a lot easier to do than I thought it would tbh.

I did enjoy the Cafe progression but its very disappointing that you barely even cafe credits anymore, and I haven't got everything upgraded.
