For some reason, that’s one of the later equipment to unlock. So for now it looks like the barista’s keeping all the money in their pocket

I also find it weird that the shake specialist preps shakes without ever going near the shake machine, and the barista does the same without ever touching the coffee machine. At least the toast specialist uses the toaster.

Yeah there are so many weird things in this entire cafe. I just don’t understand 😧 the logic behind it. Also, one of my staff continues to sit on the bench and I can’t make him get up. I can’t replace him with another worker and his expertise keeps advancing ahead. I’m so confused by how this cafe play makes sense.

I also don’t like that the only way to make progress on the milestones is through likes, which only come from the tours. Each tour has a defined number of likes, which seems very low compared to how many you need for each milestone. It looks to me like you’re set up to fail, which would force you to use SP. Not confused anymore; just not happy.

^^^ You’re absolutely right - the amount of required likes will require us to spend real life cash to advance…else we are indeed set up to fail.

I just don’t understand 😧 why this update was even created considering we’ve already had a cafe update.

I really wish it would’ve been something like a simulation daycare or school system or even a nursing home. Anything but another cafe.

I think I am going to stop playing this one. It really only works if you use social points. And the way it works now, most of my shifts don't start til 11 p.m. or later. I am not staying up for 4 hours to play this game.

I don’t think you have to start the shift right away. If I’m right the game gives 2 shifts within 24 hours. If you feel fit for you can add more for 8 SP/each. The tours don‘t take much time but you can only start a new one an hour after the former one has been finished. We don’t have to do all 4 tours per shift. Two shifts á two tours seems doable. But probably there will be a point where SPs are needed :(

I messed up this weekend though and forgot about playing when a shift was ready. So due to that, I lost the ability to get the sandwich display for free. I had to pay for it after the shift was ended. It cost a lot of social points. Boo. I am trying to get back my friends again on here because so many people I think either quit playing and or they lost the ability to add people back on like I did since we tried doing what FireMonkeys said which didn't seem to register new friends. I need way more social points and don't want to pay for them.

Me too - I messed up and did the same! Booooo :( It's ridiculously expensive to buy items that you've missed.

I am unable to add friends since that update that broke the connection. Is there a way to add friends back on The Sims FreePlay? Thanks! :D
