One of the 11th Birthday Specials: Influence Island Double Network Credits: From December 3, start Influence Island Season 32 and begin convincing Sims to join your clan, to receive double network credits to redeem prizes sooner.

3 challenges/attempts per day are free. You get one every 8 hours, but they will not add up over 3 if you don’t play.
Additional attempts will cost 15 SP/each.

This table with the costs of chocolate, bribe and progress during the event is intended to help with decision whether or not to spend Social Points and then to keep the amount as low as possible.
Note: Unused bribes are retained between Challenges.

The table is from Season 1, but the numbers haven‘t changed since, so I don‘t expect changes for the current one. (Subject to change.)

Sadly the decorating animations are not available at all Christmas Trees in the game.

Cats will go and play with the tree by themselves.

Can anyone tell me what the birthday double points for influence island 32 means, because I’m not getting double. I did find getting to 7 friends easier had them in the first 2 days though but 3 days later cannot get any further or else I’m getting really bad at it

For each time you try to advance the 'relationship' between your Sim and the person you are trying to influence, you should be able to earn twice the amount of coins you would earn during a usual run. So for example, the first run to friend is usually 400 coins but it's now double to 800 for a short period. And vice versa for the next relationship steps.

thanks for explanation, I’m still being terrible this round maybe that’s why I didn’t notice

LJoughin, sadly it’s just the first round that got easier this time To me it‘s better to complete one Sim from friend (easy) over ally (not easy) to clan mate (difficult). This way the worst rounds don‘t concentrate at the end. Possibly you want to try this strategy for the next island event

Was highly disappointed. Certainly won't be getting the grand prize this time...

It’s too bad the made it so hard, because for me, the cat animation alone is worth the work. I think I’ve seen every cat in my town attack a Christmas tree already and it’s so cute
